She Found Her Next Someone
Life changes (big or small) can often be hard, stressful, difficult. We can’t see into the future, during these stressful times we barely manage the present, and we often forget about the good times in the past. For two years, we traveled this great country in our Airstream (a gift from a dear loved one named Betty), but we had to let her go.
It was heartbreaking putting her up for sale. It was discouraging the people who would try to low-ball her value and take advantage of our need to sale. Our timing was stressful, prices were dropping quickly and real buyers were more cautious and hard to find.
But then we found him — a buyer who we knew would love her and care for her as much as we did. Someone who had a dream to own an Airstream and to travel, and we were able to help that dream come true.
Things happen for a reason. The stress of it taking so long to sell her faded into the background because we knew we found the right person to take Betty Jo (the Airstream) onto her next journey. And we knew that the “real” Betty would approve.
We have our memories and hundreds of photos. A past we can cherish and remember long into the future, and a present where we can say good-bye to a special friend as she travels on into her next chapter.
Safe travels to Betty Jo and her new friend, Norman.
