It can be a bit unsettling. I found I was a bit lost when we were no longer living on the road. Like you, I needed purpose and structure, and believe it or not, living on the road provided that, suddenly I had neither. Now that I am working again I find I am enjoying it a bit, just hard grappling with the loss of freedom to do as I please :-), though there is some flexibility in this job. Good luck.
